"Do Jews Believe In Mistletoe" - This song was written as a holiday gift to my dad and his girlfriend at the time, a lovely Catholic woman from Canaryville. They were gracious enough to invite me to spend the holidays with them and I was too broke to actually buy them any gifts. It's a Chanukah song . . . it's a Christmas song . . . whatever it is, it's funny and it sounds great! This song was written back when "its A Wonderful Life" could be seen every other hour on every other network. "Jesus Is My Realtor" - Big thanks to DJ Medi4, AKA Senator Bradley Burlingame, who was relating the tale of his struggle to find a place to live while in between gigs. Not particularly religious, when he said that he had left the search up to G-d I couldn't help but picture Jesus in one of those gold Century 21 jackets. Some "Christians" want to think this song is meant to make fun of their religion. I suggest they turn the other cheek and find forgiveness in their hearts. Hate the game, not the playa. Go soak your head. However you want to phrase it, the point is that sticks and stones can break your bones. Words can only cause emotional damage if you let them. And if you let them hurt you, you are weak and you must be destroyed. At least, that's what the Buddha teaches. (Vocals, acoustic guitar, some electric guitar and keyboards on "Do Jews Believe in Mistletoe" by David Robinson. Vocals and acoustic guitar on "Jesus Is My Realtor" by David Robinson. Production and additional musicianship on both songs by Richard Doty. All lyrics by David Robinson.)
